XR SUPER SERIES LATE MODELS
KOKOMO, Ind. (September 20, 2022) – Tim McCreadie drove past Jonathan Davenport with 12 laps to go and went on to earn a $40,000 win at the Kokomo Dirt Nationals on Tuesday night.
McCreadie started from the outside of the second row and almost immediately found himself stalking Davenport over the course of the first 40 circuits of the 60-lap XR Super Series main event at Kokomo Speedway. As the two approached traffic just past halfway, McCreadie began closing the gap, putting his Paylor Motorsports No. 39 on the rail and eating into JD’s lead. T-Mac got underneath Davenport in Turns 1 and 2 then completed the pass into 3 and 4. Even through traffic, McCreadie pulled away, and ultimately claimed victory.
It was McCreadie’s second career XR Super Series win, as he collected the $25,000 feature at All-Tech Raceway on Tuesday, April 22.
