The oldest and longest running Super Late Model Series in the country has reached an agreement with XR Events to broadcast the series in 2023. The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series, located in the Southeast Region of the United States, kicked off its 40th year of operation in 2023.
The Southern All Stars will be featured on XR Events streaming platform XR+ throughout the year, available on Web, Apple, Android, Roku, and FireTV apps with a Monthly or Yearly Subscription. The series joins a stout lineup of Super Late Models tours and events including the XR Super Series, XR Workinβ Man Series, Iron Man Late Models, Carolina Clash Late Models, and the XR Northern Storm.
“Investing resources and media into regional tours is a priority for our company,β added XR Events CEO Barry Braun. Our streaming royalty is the most lucrative package available in the market. Keeping race tracks sustainable is key. It is imperative that race tracks run a healthy business. A fair cut of streaming revenue will provide much needed resources to the bottom line. Additional marketing will hopefully keep fans excited to head to the track.”
XR Events will begin the broadcast year at the βGinger Owens Memorial March Madnessβ from Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina, on March 5, 2023. The Tony Adair promoted track is a long-time staple for the Southern All Stars.
βThis deal is a win-win for all parties involved,β added Southern All Stars owner Matt Wagner. βXR did a phenomenal job promoting the series in 2022. With a dedicated broadcast commitment to the series we expect to see more fans and media attention.”
βGeneral consensus from all of our partners and track promoters is very positive,β added Southern All Stars Series Director Dewayne Keith. βThe race tracks will receive a large portion of revenue for the broadcasts. We are pumped to offer one of the best broadcast royalty packages in the industry with XR Events.”
